I called my local gun shop and they said the only way to shorten the LOP was to get a thinner recoil pad. They said they couldn't cut down the  I just bought my girlfriend a new Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I and I need the stock shortened and the recoil pad refit. Do you guys know of  Gun stocks are not created equally. One size doesn't fit all. The reach, particularly from the trigger to the shoulder, should be just right for comfort and accuracy.
